I need my face today!

Greetings :D

Well, it's official. I am now in my mid-20's. Sob. But I had an awesome day!! And thanks to everyone who sent texts, emails and messages on Facebook :) Much appreciated!!

It started with Laura leading us (in the wrong direction at first, due to her inability to tell right from left) to the Sparkle Cupcakery. That's right, Cupcakes. With SPARKLE! We had high tea there including cucumber and smoked salmon sandwiches, shortcake biscuits, strawberries with chocolate dipping sauce and, of course, cupcakes! I think my diet this week has mainly consisted of cupcakes... a little worrying :P

After that we saw The Time Traveller's Wife at the cinema then headed back to the hostel for more cake! Norma gave me a cake yesterday so Laura, Chris, one of the girls I shared a room with at the hostel during my last stay, and I ate some cake, then others arrived and they had cake. All very nice :) And it was REALLY good cake :P

Finished up my day with a meal in Chinatown with Lily.

Now the nerves are kicking in for tomorrow, first day at the new job! Exciting though... and then there's Friday, when I'll be picking up the keys for the new flat!! Moving in on Saturday morning.

All in all, a pretty fantastic week! Birthday, flat and work... now if only I could get the Greenpeace and Save the Homeless, Whales and Children people would let me walk along George Street in peace, life would be perfect :P
