Okay, X Factor results show...

I'm going to gloss over the horrendousness of the group song (Stacey had a stupid hat on, Danyl looked sloppy) and go straight to Leona. I heard this song a few weeks ago on the radio here. It's good, very Leona-ish. How short is Dermot?!?! If only we could mute that Cowell idiot.

I don't have the words to describe how upsetting it is to see Lucie in the bottom two given some of the dross on the X Factor... her final performance is stunning. Again, the control, the big notes, the fact that she tackles Whitney Houston... but what's the point? Sigh. How on EARTH does she go out? My mind is boggling.

I don't even want to watch Jedward's video. It's bound to be heinous.

*Two minutes and 8 seconds later*

But that is the unfortunate nature of the so-called 'singing' competition. The morons who are entertaining get put through over the actual talent. This is not Britain's Got Talent and Jedward are the new John Sergeant. And why do the judges HAVE to save their acts? If their acts are THAT crap, then they shouldn't feel obligated to save them. Cowardly Cowell needs to stop using this Deadlock crap. Down with Cowell.

Thank god there's still Joe. And to a lesser extent, Danyl. I can't believe it's only week 5 and there's only 1 girl left. And that the girl is Stacey. Weird. Actually, more than that, I can't believe that I'm watching X Factor on this side of the world. I need to get a life.
