Why yes, yes I DO have the keys :D I'm now in the flat. Well, not right now. Right now, I'm in the net cafe farming on Facefarm and listening to my favourite videos of the week on the Tube of You.
Anyway! Moved in this morning after a LOT of faffing around, to-ing and fro-ing. More specifically it was my hair that was fro-ing. It was not coping in the heat this morning as I dragged myself and four bags from the estate agents to the flat along the LONGEST road in the world where no taxis ever go! But I digress, I now have a mattress to crash on tonight (and it will be crash, I'm struggling to keep my eyes open as it is... infact, I'm not sure how I'm still awake... maybe I'm not...). Courtesy of my Australian Family, we also have loads of kitchen stuff, a couch and a TV. And a rug. It's too much!! :D I've taken photos of the place with nothing in it and will take some tomorrow after I've unpacked some clothes.
Plans tomorrow are skype-ing in the morning before heading to Chatswood to do some shopping, basic household stuff is needed (loo roll, washing up liquid...) and food of course. I can't live on McDonald's forever :P
The job has started well... it was a lot to take in on my first day but I think I'm getting it... and there are some really nice, helpful people there which is always great!! The office space is amazing... the view from the staff room is awesome, I'll have to take pics of it.
And since I can't make my hands and brain communicate properly, here are my videos of the week. I'm definately on a musical-ish theme at the moment:
Kristin Chenoweth singing 'The Girl in 14G'
Natalie Weiss singing 'Alto's Lament' - I can empathise :P
Kristin Chenoweth again - this time from her appearance on Glee (which I haven't seen yet since Australia is rather far behind) - singing Alone, made famous by Heart. Also sung well by Tracie Thoms from Rent.
And one more... because you really can't have ENOUGH Kristin Chenoweth, singing Maybe This Time, with Lea Michele on Glee. Lea Michele is beyond awesome as well.
And I'm done for now. Next blog, I'm assuming, will be X Factor, my disdain for Cowardly Cowell... I'm not really sure if there's much point in watching it anymore... oh wait, Joe :D
Night night xx
