I'm going to do a proper blog post. Honest. But there's X Factor to watch from last week! I want to see the train wreck that's bound to be Wham week. I haven't bothered watching the results show stuff from Queen week. Jamie's out, that's all that really matters.
On with the show!
Looks like I'll be judging it purely on the singing given that youtube is only showing 1 out of 30 frames. Difficult to watch. Lloyd sounded good, and I did see his new hair. Bless, so cute! The song suited his voice and it was in tune and stuff. Solid work, Lloyd.
Thought Stacey was a bit dodgy at the start, but the rest of it was brilliant. Sounded great. Lol video has frozen on Cheryl looking like some sort of rodent. There is a part of me that loves Stacey... but just not when she opens her mouth to speak.
I don't click the Jedward link with that same feeling of dread anymore. It's nice. And it's nice knowing that they go out this week too. Wow, that's a lot of white they're wearing. "Call me good, call me bad"... well that's just asking for trouble really. Meh, the rap wasn't good. This is pants. Wish I could see what's happening.
Ooh Danyl's doing Careless Whisper. I fell in love with that song again when Gossip did a cover of it for Radio 1's 1967 album two years ago. Let's see how he gets on. God it's so boring when Beth Ditto isn't screaming over the top of it. Decent though, hard to believe he was in the bottom two near the start of the competetion. I love how the audience completely drown out Dannii. Hooray!
Olly next... Fast Love, pants song. He sounds rubbish. Anyone else think it sounds really like Men in Black near the end? Blah Olly, blah. Bring on Joe!! And who are these girls that are constantly mobbing Louis to tell them their opinions? Why would anyone want to mob him?!?!? The mind well and truly boggles.
Joe rocked. Simple as . Wish I could have seen it though. I love that song and love him. Louis and his rules need to shove it. George Michael doesn't ALWAYS sing this with Elton.
Skipping the group performance... and oh god, Susan Boyle, are you kidding me? Skip skip... bye Jedward!
And that's it for Week 7. I'm being told that Week 8 is Elton John and Take That. How random! Looking forward to it though. The only thing that Week 7 has shown us, apart from the fact that Joe is awesomeness personified, is that George Michael kinda sucks.
xx
