Boredom is...

Waiting until 2pm to check into your room at the hostel.

Flight to Auckland was pretty uneventful apart from the child who decided to scream intermittently throughout the journey. I'm now of the opinion that children should be sedated or made to travel on separate planes.

*three hours later*

Checked in. Room is alright and now off to explore. Roommate who's about to leave is from Falkirk. First Scottish roommate in eight months and she's leaving. Typical.

Off to tackle the hill! It looks... interesting.
