Bond, Jamesh Bond

Good weekend all!

Had incredibly lazy day today. Just made up for it by phoning the Bank of Scotland twice to make sure my cards don't get cancelled should I attempt to use them in NZ. I was on hold for 30 mins for my credit card then 8 mins for my debit card. Thankfully, this means that I've missed at least 38 minutes of the godawful James Bond film that's on TV right now.

Need to go take my washing out of the machine and drape it artfully over things though it's not going to dry. It's freezing in this flat. I'm wearing layers! Only another week and a half of it to go though. The next couple of weeks are going to be busy busy.

Going to partake in a bit of cleaning tomorrow afternoon (after shopping :( ) and throw MORE stuff out. Our flat is going to be Open for Inspection on Friday morning. Which is great. Complete strangers tramping in and out of our flat while neither of us are here. Must hide the good china!

Planning a little at the moment. My journey around Australia will (inevitably) take me to the Cadbury's Chocolate Factory on Tasmania (yes, home of the devil) and also to here: Coober Pedy. Not because of the opals (even though I'm SUCH a huge fan... *end!sarcasm*), but because most of the town is under-freaking-ground! :D How awesome is that? Like moles! (Note: Probably not like moles in all honesty. I've only seen one mole person since arriving in Australia. I work with her. She's not nice.) It looks as though greyhound.com.au is going to become my new best friend...though I decided to see how long it would take to get from Alice Springs (near the middle of Australia) to Coober Pedy by car - 7-8 hours (693km's on the journey on the Stuart Highway). It would take 5 days to walk it. Not that I would. I don't have a death wish.

Anyway, rambling! I'm off to bed. Again. Tomorrow will be a productive day. I'm not going to waste it in bed. Though the thought is rather tempting.

Good day to you all!
xx
