Bar Tosca

Beautiful day in Sydney. The sun's out but there's enough of a breeze to make it nice and cool. I'm sitting in my favourite cafe in the city, just eaten some sort of black forest torte and about to make a dent in a medium hot chocolate courtesy of Bill and Nina at Bar Tosca.

I've been coming here every workday since I started at the CSA. Six months of banana bread in the morning, chicken or tuna wraps or on turkish bread at lunch and hot chocolates when the mood takes me. It's a stressful place sometimes but right now, it's awesome. The only other customer inside is a woman and her adorably cute baby.

I don't know what I would have done without this place over the past six months and I can't wait to visit again when I return to Sydney during/after my travels. It's pretty cool having a place where they know your name and what you're going to order. Or maybe it's sad. But I tend to be a creature of habit when it comes to food and the food here is amazing. Most of it's made by Nina. Her cakes are pretty much to die for.

So this is another place I'm going to miss on my travels. Others being Hyde Park and the Subway in Artarmon - meatball subs will never be the same :P

Off to send some emails before I meet the guys from work at 4:30. They probably think I'm horrendously sad for showing up so early, but really, the hot chocolate is worth it :P

Happy weekend! I'll be blogging before I head to NZ on Monday morning!
xx
