X Factor Week 9 - Semi Final

Oh wait. It's not that song! Olly sucks. It's awful. And the clothes look somewhat familiar.... was Olly in Faces of Disco?! His voice is all over the place but the judges seem to like it. Whatever. It's Joe next :D

Ah, Joe... there really aren't enough words to say how amazing that was. So beautiful. Oh sob... if he doesn't win, I will eat one of my many hats! (Disclaimer: Only if the hat is made of chocolate. Or pringles.)

Before I gush about how much I love Stacey's version of The Way You Make Me Feel, anyone else think it's a bit odd that there was a guy playing piano when it was a bass guitar playing? Hmm. And what are the dancers wearing? Oooh no, dodgy key change. Up until the key change, I thought it was fab! And she looked hot! Nice hat! Fanks!

Not crazy about the start of Man in the Mirror. I'm assuming he's going to be amazing when it kicks in though. Dodgy leather trousers, microphone throwing, gospel choir, The Jesus Light... pretty good actually :) Very well done. I missed the polar bear... stupid facebook... ah well.

On with the second songs!!

Hooray, Olly has changed! Thank god for that!! What is this song he's singing though? Oh yawn. The jazzy dancing doesn't save him either. I'm over Olly. Bring on Joe!! Whoa, why is Simon stealing everything from Britain's Got Talent? The screens? Aiden Davis!! Poor show, Cowell. Poor show.

Perspex stairs again... the judges are pulling out all the stops... wind machine, curtains, stock footage of a moon in the sky... :P and the fire-y things... Again, I didn't know the song... but that was awesome! Joe for Prime Minister!

Stacey is back into her comfort zone with a big ballad-y song. And Leona hair. She can't pull off the lower register though, it's pretty bad... but the big notes, apart from that last little blip, are really good. She's just not good enough compared with other female singers on the go just now. What's all this about The Voice? What a load of crap.

Even though I know Danyl goes out (sad face), my expectations are still really high for this. I Have Nothing is one of my favourite Whitney songs (she's coming to Oz next year to spread the crazy!). It was really good :) Better than Olly. Boo hiss at Olly. Sigh.

Might as well watch the group performance this week... Urgh. Not even a minute in and I have to stop... bad.

And that's it, Danyl is gone.

Off to brave the scorching heat, it's horrible today. So humid!! Getting our fridge tomorrow though lol Cold drinks shall be ours!!
