G'day blog readers,
The net cafe appears to be less annoying today so here's hoping I get through a decent blog's worth of typing :P
BIG CONGRATS to my big stepbrother and his fiancee! Engaged in Central Park on Christmas Eve :)
Well, Christmas is over and I've already decided that next year, no matter where I end up, I'm going to be closer to home. It's just too weird not being around my family and friends. And the lack of snow... well, maybe not such a contributing factor, but there's something just not right about shorts and t-shirts on Christmas Day! Even if it did rain...
I've had a nice couple of lazy days and today I planned on rebooking my flights home (they're currently booked for the start of February) so that I'm here till September but STA Travel are closed. Grand! They open again tomorrow though, which is great cause I'm working 8-4 then going to get the keys for the house-sitting. I guess it'll have to wait until next week to get it done. Oops.
So how did I spend Christmas? Exactly the way I planned it... pancakes at Pancakes on the Rocks then photo taking at Circular Quay. It was a good day but started to feel horrendously homesick towards the end of it. Was expecting it though so it wasn't too bad.
Just remembered that I need to print off bus timetables for getting to and from work from Mosman! Going to get that done then go for lunch. Feeling rather peckish.
Probably do another blog towards the end of the week since I'll have the internet on tap :P
Oh, I heard Glee is coming to the UK at last. Everyone watch it for it is fab. They showed 3 episodes back to back last night. Brilliant!!
Love you all,
Kirsty xx
