X Factor Week 6

Hurrah! It's Queen week! Let's see what's in store. I wonder if it will be any better than what's currently stuck in my head (Look at You from Hanson's smash album of 1998 Middle of Nowhere. And Last Christmas by Wham, which was just on the radio at the net cafe. It's flipping roasting outside. I don't want Christmas music, thank you.)

And let's get the dross out of the way first! It's Jamie. Radio Gaga... is it weird that I want to sing the We Will Rock You musical version of this song? Yes? Hmm. Never mind. Yawn. Pitchy, bland... his 'version' pretty much sucks. Infact, youtube clearly doesn't want me to watch it. It's loading Lloyd's video faster... Bad hair Cheryl :( And Jamie's trousers... jeez. This sucks. Please tell me it gets better. Stop clapping audience, it's bad. Do I care what the judges have to say? Not really. Let's look at what they're wearing instead! Liking Dannii's hair but the necklace... not so much. Not sure about the hair comments either Cheryl... it's looked pretty much like that for the past few months... Hooray, the crowd drowned out Coward.. I mean, Cowell.

I miss Lucie :(

Lloyd! I still think he looks like a thunderbird. Or maybe the guy that starred in Thunderbirds... Okay, the singing was fine. I liked it. But the song choice was horrendous... and the dancers were hooker-ish. But really, he's so cute that no-one cares what he sings. Look at that smile! Bless!

Olly's video is taking an age to load as well. I should point out that cause I'm watching these on youtube, I don't get any of the blurb at the start and virtually no Dermot. Alas. The net cafe is now playing Night Fever by those Brothers Gibb. The thing with Olly is that he's never really made me go Wow. He's not bad, he's just not... an X Factor winner. Dancing was alright.

I wouldn't have bet that Cheryl would have brought out the gospel choir first! Breaking the rules... with a gospel choir?? Um... whatever Louis. Joe is amazing. Amaaaaaaaaaazing. I love him. And I love that song. Sob sob sob.

And speaking of breaking the rules... Vanilla Ice... is NOT Queen. I must be mellowing. I don't hate Jedward as much as I used to. Still annoyed at them for putting Lucie out. They have to be the most random act to get into the top 12 ever.  I hate that little leprechaun man.

Apart from some off bottom notes, Stacey's performance was stunning. Wow. And Cheryl just stole my word! Wow... I think that's it...

Ah the gospel choir is back for Danyl! He's incredible on those big notes. Definately one of the better performances of the night... and nothing but praise from the judges. He didn't come across as cocky or anything... and he's completely lost that wounded puppy thing he had a few weeks ago.

Saving the result show performances for the weekend. I need to get home and get some sleep. Or stand under some air conditioning for a while.

Mum's just told me that it's Wham week next week... um... didn't they have like four songs? What the other two going to sing?!?!
