So hmm, last couple of days... Laura and I saw another couple of flats yesterday. The first one was a little too big. I know, pick pick. But we don't have much in the way of furniture and don't really plan on getting THAT much. The second one was great - beautiful floorboards!- but had no fridge and a teeny tiny second bedroom with no storage. Boo hiss.
But we're applying for the one we saw last weekend, the furnished place. We've got a ton of paperwork to hand in so Laura's doing that tomorrow before work :) Here's hoping we get it, cause it's a really nice place, not too far from the train station and has furrrrrrrrrrniture!
Think I'm going to have to get out of this place soon... it smells a bit like wee in this part of the net cafe. Sigh.
It's been absolutely melting here. On Wednesday, it was somewhere in the region of 30+ degrees. And I went to the beach that day, what a nut! Today, it's been torrential rain and thunderstorms so it was a bit of a thought leaving the flat. The rain has stopped now though and yet again it's too hot for a jacket :D
I understand that I'm 11 hours in front of Britain now, great. I was just getting used to ten hours :P Ah well.
Hopefully will have started job by this time next week, it can't take this long to do police checks surely... :/
Can't wait to watch the X Factor clips because it's Big Band week! My favourite week of all. Although, from what I saw of Olly's performance while on computer 2, I might have to change my mind.
Oh god, it must be time to leave, Crap FM, easy listening for those who want to kill themselves, is playing Unbreak my Heart by Toni Braxton! Oh and the chavs have descended!
