G'day skips and skipettes,
Another rainy/windy day in Oz! Have spent some time this afternoon reading Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts and looked at apartments. Haven't heard anything about the job, but Fiona says because it's government that it won't be the fastest moving process. It took the NHS over a month to get all my checks done so they can't be any slower than that, can they?!?!
The first meeting with Recruitment Solutions went fine but they have no jobs for me at the moment. The second one went better. I got on really well with the woman who was interviewing me and she said at the end that I interview well, I wasn't overly confident but not too shy. Woo me! So she put me forward for a typist job with the Australian government but as I said, it could be a while before I hear, so the job hunt is still on.
Going to watch a film in bed in a bit. Feeling very tired today but can't work out why. The rain has just starting lashing down... the crap drizzle stuff we get in Scotland doesn't compare to the torrential stuff we've got right now!!
Back to the hostel tomorrow, booked in for another week though hopefully won't be there for that long. Laura and I are looking into getting a place together, trying to find out what kind of price it would be and if we can get anywhere furnished. As long as we're close to decent bus stops and train stations, it shouldn't be too bad.
I'm pretty sure that I had more stuff to say, but it's all gone out of my head for the moment.
Kirsty xx
