You know how Scottish people are really weird? I mean the ones on the X Factor and Britain's Got Talent and Big Brother of course, not the ones I'm related to or the ones I befriend or am acquainted with. Well, I encountered my first kilt-wearing Scotsman today. Spouting something in the Scots tongue. In Hyde Park. Sigh.
Today, I took a walk across the bridge to the Rocks for some food then took a wander past the Opera House, through part of the Palace Gardens then onto The Domain stopping for frequent reading breaks and to eat some really nice Baskin Robbins. It's really, really, really.... really hot here today; I nearly melted walking across the bridge!
I'm going to try and get to Hyde Park in the morning to get some photos of old men playing Giant Chess and of the many, many Christmas trees in Central Plaza.
Oh yeah, and maybe look for some flats.
Kirsty xx
